Welcome To The macOS Password Reset How To
Every 90 days all employee's are required to change their password to help ensure your account is secure with a unique password. Below you will find the steps necessary to update your password.
Resetting Your Password

Locate the Jamf Connect tool in your menu bar on the top of your screen and select it.

Select Jamf Connect to open the menu and select Change Password.

Sign in with your domain credentials

Once signed in you may change your password and click submit when done.
- Password Requirements
• At least 8 characters
• Not contain Username or parts of Full Name
• Not one of last 8 passwords
• Not contain repeating characters
• Contain characters from three of the following categories:
o Uppercase Characters (A through Z) o Lowercase Characters (a through z)
o Number (0 through 9)
o Special Characters (Ex: !,$,%,@)

Upon success the window will refresh and load your 5.11 Profile. Select Done at the bottom of the window.

Jamf Connect will detect your password has been updated.
Enter your updated domain credentials

The second window will prompt you for previous password, enter it in the Local Password field and click Sync.

You have successfully updated your password.
