Intune helps us keep your account and company data secure by registering your device. Your registered device will be allowed to access company data and resources where a unregistered device will not. Enrolling only takes a moment, lets take a look below.
What if My Mac Is Not Enrolled With Intune
If your Mac is not enrolled with Intune you will see the below window when logging into your services IE) Outlook, Microsoft Word, Teams, SharePoint etc.
Enrolling Your Mac With Intune
To enroll your device, Open Self Service from your Applications list.
Open Finder in your dock
Locate Self Service in your list of Applications and launch it
Select the Device Compliance category and then select Register.
Company Portal will launch and then select "Sign in".
You will be asked to select your account or sign in.
If you are signed into another Office 365 application it will ask you to select your account and continue.
If you are asked to sign in please do so with your 5.11 Domain Credentials.
If you are MFA Enrolled, you may be challenged to Authenticate using Microsoft Authenticator App. Approve the Sign in Request if Challenged
Upon successfully signing in you will receive the below screen, select Done
After enrollment two new windows will appear.
Please pay special attention to step 3 of the help window that appears. Failure to select Always Allow during authentication will result in being prompted periodically when your Mac checks in.
Login using your 5.11 Domain Credentials.
Upon successful sign in you may be prompted to select a certificate. Select OK if prompted to accept the certificate.
Enter your computer login password and select "Always Allow" or you will receive continuous prompts to allow access.
Enrollment is now complete and access to 5.11 Office 365 Resources are now available.
